Elizabeth M. Cosin: Zen and the Art of Murder

Zen and the Art of Murder

Zen and the Art of Murder is the opening shot in the mystery series by journalist, sportswrite and TV writer, Elizabeth M. Cosin featuring detective Zen Moses. Thirty-three year old loner and cancer survivor Zen starts the novel with serious problems - dodging calls from creditors, avoiding an IRS auditor and mourning the recent loss of her cat. A lucrative job finding the father of a talk-show celeb might be just the thing to solve some problems - until she finds out a hitman is on the same trail. Funny, interesting, suspenseful and intelligent, this is a great book and I'm looking forward to more.

Cosin is a story editor for TV series «24» and has written for L.A. Dragnet, 3 episodes of Law & Order: Criminal Intent, TV movie «Hopewell», TV series «Snoops» and «Buddy Faro» and was story editor for TV series «Secret Agent Man.»

Zen and the Art of Murder was nominated for a Shamus Award and named one of the best five new mystery novels of 1998 by Booklist.
